Felt wallhanging

Reveal is a felted wall hanging inspired by negative space. The idea behind this piece was to use negative space to create an abstract design based on an original free formed flat dimension pattern. The original pattern was created using free falling wool fibres which blended and intertwined to create an asymmetric series of shapes. In contrast, the final piece has extra depth and layers to emphasise its extra dimension. The aim was to let the project develop as it went on. To see what would come from it  and what would develop  in terms of form and shape. I did not want  to place any constraint  on the final outcome.
